commission for the York Company of Cordwainers.
Silver, Gold Turquoise and fossilised wood resin.
This was an especially nice to piece to design and make, as it utilised a whole range of the skills I have acquired over the years, including miniature carving for the tiny goat's heads, and stone cutting for inlay of the shield.
Most of all I enjoyed being able to reinterpret the heraldic forms in a freer and more naturalistic way.
